Muffaletta

Ingredients

  • 7 oz New Bridge Mediterranean Cheddar, thinly sliced

  • 8 oz muffaletta olive spread or olive tapenade

  • 4 ciabatta rolls, cut in half

  • 4 oz salami, thinly sliced

  • 4 oz calabrese, thinly sliced

  • 4 oz mortadella, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Spread the muffaletta olive salad evenly on the top and bottom halves of the ciabatta. Drizzle with extra olive oil for added flavor.

  2. Layer 1 oz each of salami, calabrese, mortadella, and New Bridge Mediterranean Cheddar on the ciabatta, alternating cheese and meat.

  3. Cook until the cheddar melts and the meat is warmed through.

  4. Assemble the sandwich by placing the two sides together.

  5. Serve warm or at room temperature for enhanced flavor.
